all the silent things

I like everything that is quiet
like me
everything that just listens
watches
I like anything that respects
and let others be

I live for the silent things
for the comfy corners
and though my heart is heavy
I love it all that is just light

I have an urge to protect anything that is lonely
cause what is lonely should stay lonely
if there ain't no urge to change it
and there is no urge to change it

In this world so violent
I look up for the things that make peace
cause though my heart is violent
and my soul is dark
I'm always waiting for my dawn
my calm dawn
that will wake up all the good things
all the silent things
and will let them be.
